Buffalo Chips, The
Submitted by kitti (03 May 2009)
Here I have a new cd of German rock'n'roll band The Buffalo Chips (what a good imagination to make up that kind of name!) "Rockabilly Party". I made an experiment, I listened to it several times in different conditions: in my car, while working on the computer, during the breakfast, and they always sound suitable for...
Jack Face & The Volcanos
Submitted by rockabilly_girl (09 April 2007)
The second album of these French hepcats was starts with 'Rock 'n' Roll Twist' which was originally recorded by JR White the Starbrites. The songs sets the standard and style of the album very well. Pete Anderson
Submitted by bopperer (01 April 2008)
To merge rockabilly and swing was Pete's idea which he managed to fulfill with his band "Archives" already in the 80's. This time it has blended with the artist’s brand-new ideas! And now at last - new style, new CD – „BRASS-A-BILLY” is out! This CD can be easily called as rockabilly of 21st century!...
R.j. And The Phantoms
Submitted by kitti (20 August 2007)
So what's the rumor? Let me tell you the story... Hans Nelemans (aka Reuben James or RJ) from Red Shots and Russian rockabilly band the Phantoms met for the first time at Valga Cruisin' (Estonia) in July 2004. The guys were impressed with each others performances and after some visits by RJ to Saint-Petersburg...
