Chris Isaak
Submitted by rockinev (30 January 2012)
Stunning! I think that is the only way to introduce this album, Chris Isaak has recorded probably the finest Rockabilly album that we are likely to hear for a long time. The sleeve notes state that this is an album Chris has wanted to record his whole life, it has been labour of love,...
Mississippi Queen
Submitted by juanes (26 January 2012)
Frontman, from the first hour, Karlo Starcevic/singer-songwriter-gitarist and upright bassplayer Jurica Stelma wave goodby to there leadgitarist and with getting Axel Praefcke in the band they did I gues the transfer of there lives. This man, just like recording engineer Ike Store , belongs to the RBR furnitur for centuries. And they are both in big...
Mississippi Queen
Submitted by juanes (16 January 2012)
This CD almost slipped through! Now that would've been a real shame, 'cause it's a mighty fine record that pleased my ears from the very first time I gave it a spin. Mississippi Queen delivered an excellent album, and every song has been taken care of with lots of passion, enthusiasm, and rock &...
Bo Walton
Submitted by rockinev (07 January 2012)
Bo Walton has burst on to the UK rock n roll scene over the last couple of months having released this, his first single. He has gained a lot of press coverage and radio airplay, especially the local BBC Rock n Roll Heaven show. So is the music worthy of the hype? In a simple...
Ragged Bones
Submitted by rockinev (05 January 2012)
Hailing from Stockholm- Sweden Ragged Bones are a Rockabilly trio with their roots firmly in the ‘80’s ‘Neo’ & ‘Physco’ scenes. There is a stripped back and raw feel to their 6 self composed numbers on this debut disc, the notes provided by the band indicate that they have shared the stage with the likes of...
Mick Wigfall & The Toxics
Submitted by rockinev (05 January 2012)
Mick Wigfall and the Toxics, when this CD arrived I was eager to hear it, Mick has a long pedigree in the rockin world going back to the Guanabatz days of the ‘80’s via a long stint with Darrell Higham and the Enforcers and many other top artists of this and other genres. I must say...
777 (triple Seven)
Submitted by rockinev (11 November 2011)
A brash young band who’s sound owes more to the ‘80’s neo scene and Brian Setzer than the original ‘50’s artists, their mission to bring rockabilly kicking and screaming to a younger audience. The overall sound is pretty good on this album and it makes fair car radio listening, the opening My Guitar is strong...
The Honky Tonk Pounders
Submitted by rockinev (15 June 2011)
Devil Bop, this should make all you saints and sinners bop! Terrific 50’s style rockabilly performed by this three piece unit from Germany Absolutely great musicianship is the order of the day and a great knack for song writing. All their own tunes, these are infectious bopping tracks that make this one of the best...
Larry Donn

Just to let you know I will be having a huge push forward to get Larry Donn recognized for all his great achievements and will be working with him to get his new cd finished, any help you can give to get his name back in the lime light will be much appreciated. Over the...
Dynotones, The
Submitted by rockinev (12 June 2011)
Put this on and strap yourself in tight because this is loud, a blast from start to finish, soaring surf guitar instros, pounding drumming and rumbling bass lines the Dynotones deliver a huge slice of authentic sixties surf / garage that, if it doesn’t excite you then frankly there is no hope! I am not...
