We have very sad week left behind. Three legends from jazz, Rhythm and Blues and Rockabilly passed away.
On Wednesday (18 January) award-winning songwriter and rockabilly legend' Al Urban died at age 76.
On Tuesday (January 19) pioneering rhythm-and-blues singer, songwriter, drummer, bandleader and disc jockey Johnny Otis died in Los Angeles. He was 90 years old.
Today (20 January) Etta James, American singer, who is regarded as having bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll, died from leukemia, just five days before her 74th birthday.
