Country legend Jerry Reed died at the age of 71 on 1st September.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia he moved to Nashville in 1961 to pursuit his songwriter career. His first hit was 'Guitar Man' (1967) which was covered by Elvis Presley soon after.
He is well known for the song 'Amos Moses' which reached the top 10 US charts, but his biggest hit is still stays "When You're Hot, You're Hot' which also reached top 10 in the US.
Jerry Reed was a unique songwriter, country musician and actor who will be greatly missed by many fans worldwide.
