Rock&Roll Street is a R&R weekender in Holland on the island Terschelling. The music is only fifties Rock&Roll, Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Jive, Doo-wop etc. The fifties are back again.
2010 it will be the 22th festival In the weekender there 's not just live music to listen, there is also lots to see. A parade... Rock&Roll Street is a R&R weekender in Holland on the island Terschelling. The music is only fifties Rock&Roll, Rockabilly, Hillbilly, Jive, Doo-wop etc. The fifties are back again. 2010 it will be the 22th festival In the weekender there 's not just live music to listen, there is also lots to see. A parade of Vintage cars, a dance demonstration and a hula hoop competition for youngsters, a record hop and more. Rock & Roll music, dance, clothes, Oldtimers and Solexen. There's a lot to see and enjoy. Stichting Actief Midsland is the organisation which makes this festival possible. Together with sponsors and volunteers. They hope you will enjoy yourself and have a good rockin' time. You can see ca. 11 bands in the pubs on Friday and Saturday. PLease check the LINE UP on the website! You can buy a pin (10 euro) by the stand in the main street of Midsland and some shops in the street. Outdoor gigs and other performances in the street on Saturday and Sunday are free of course.
