Lords of the Highway from Cleveland, Ohio have been tearin' up asphalt since 1992 bringing you hillbilly punk rock that knocks ya flat, runs ya over, and doesn't look back.

The Lords have hauled along the highway from NYC's CBGB's to honky tonk dives in the hills, playing with the likes of Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture on the Skids, Hank III, Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Dick Dale, Nekromantix, Tiger Army, El Vez, Hasil Adkins, Lee Rocker, Ray Condo, and many others - not to mention countless of kick ass punk bands. They've played events including Daytona's Bike Week, and are regulars at the biggest baddest party in this hemisphere, Heavy Rebel Weekender in Winston-Salem, NC.

The line-up for the newest album "Die, Monster, Die" (to be released Summer 2007) includes Sugar on, over, and under the upright bass, Joey Hissem beatin' the hell out of the drums, and Dennis A. Bell astounding crowds with his "smoke and mirrors" technique on his hollow body Gretsch. This latest album will be the sixth full-length release for the band, and is shaping up to be the scariest yet!

"A band that's bawdy even by the Cramps' oversexed standards" - Cleveland Scene Magazine

"Everything they do is very well executed so if you like your stew spiced with Psychobilly, Rockabilly, Cow Punk and a bit of Swing, Surf, and Polka, check this hot trio out."- Blue Suede News

"Excellent rockabilly worthy of national attention" - Utter Trash

"I'm not a big rockabilly fan, but occasionally a band like Lords of the Highway comes along and blows me away" - Razorcake

"Sleazy truck driving rock 'n' roll that stands out in a music genre where it's tough to be original... without a doubt Ohio's best rockabilly act." -

The Lords can list the following honors received from Cleveland Music Awards:

2005 Best Live Band - Scene Music Awards

2005 Best Rockabilly/Garage Band - Free Times Music Awards

2006 Best Roots/Country Band - Scene Music Awards
